Poor Nana!

How did we entertain ourselves before Nana came to visit? I honestly don't remember. But I do know that we are enjoying her company for the next month. It's a good thing my mom is easy-going. Here's a clip of Ella dragging Nana around by a string.

In other news, we have been completely ignoring Ella since the new baby came. So my mom watched Avery for us last night and we took Ella on a special outing to the county fair with just me and Bry. She was stoked to ride on the carousel and drive a car ride and tour the petting zoo, topped off by a fireworks show at the end of the evening.

Although a little confused by the sudden interest of both parents (and the plethora of rides contorting people upside down and whirling around), Ella jumped right in and had a good time. If we start saving now, maybe we'll cough up the $20 it would have cost for all three of us to ride the ferris wheel when we go next year.

That's so fun to have your mom here. Take advantage of it. I'm glad you were able to spend some time w/Ella and Bryson. I need to do more one on one outings w/our kids.

Don't you just love having your mom here! I'm sure she doesn't mind at all being pulled around by a leash by her granddaughter. How fun for you and Bryson to take just Ella out. I'm with you $20 for a ferris wheel??? Hello, they aren't that exciting!

That is so fun that you got to have an outing with just Ella. I try to make sure I spend some one on one time with Weston once a week, even if that means taking just him to the grocery store with me when Ian is home on a Saturday or something. The fair looks like so much fun. I should go look up when our fair is . . .
PS-Mom's are the best. I just had my Mom with me for a whole week+. It was wonderful. Enjoy.

I love both of your fair pictures. We went, but once again, I forgot my camera. (Gotta work on that one.) The fair is a great place to build memories, but a great place to spend a lot of money in a very short time span. We did the $20 too and it never goes as far as you want it to go.
