Attending multiple egg hunts is not a bad thing...except when mom is eating all the candy. And reading a book about the evils of high-fructose corn syrup while downing those jellybeans. Our church grass is rockin'.

If I had a dollar for every egg hunt this year...

Yeah, why is our building the ONLY building in miles that has NO grass? What's up with keeping it looking beautiful?
Have you seen those commercials that say "High fructose corn syrup is made from corn, it's just like sugar, and fine in moderation..." While I don't know ALL the evils of HFCS, I know that it's not the best for our bodies--but, really, nothing over-processed and artificial is, right? Enjoy your jelly beans and don't worry about the dyes, sugar, HFCS, or anything else added in!
What crap book is that?
I am glad you had many Easter celebrations! Landon thoroughly enjoyed his sugar high!
I do believe in moderation in all things but I think if people understood all of the problems that the high fructose corn syrup and processed foods cause, they would look more into it. I think you are wise to at least educate yourself on the matter.
That is a problem. I find myself eating much of the Easter candy too, but not the jelly beans, I go for the chocolate!
PS-Just in case you haven't checked this out. Might want to make sure you're getting a well rounded education in high fructose corn syrup.

Yep, I can't believe our grass/dirt pile has been so woefully neglected for soooo long. Come on, worldwide amazingly organized church! Did our clerk misfile the grass requisition form? ;-)
BTW, my take on high fructose corn syrup is this: everything out there is going to kill me or cause me great bodily harm. Heck, I've already got an incurable disease that I'm sure someone, somewhere traces back to high fructose corn syrup (and aluminum and paint fumes and whatever). What more can you do to me? I try to choose whole foods and not processed foods as much as I can but I refuse to get an ulcer over such things. I have many, many other things to worry about.
