On the Home Front

Bryson whipped up this really cool dome for the girls on Sunday out of rolled up newspapers and tape. Not too shab, huh? However, because it so closely resembled playground equipment, it did not have a long life.

Ella made this yesterday for Bryson to hang up at his work. I wrote the letters and then she copied them. My favorites are "S" and "W" :)

Avery ate one of my little basil starts this morning. Dirt, roots, everything. And then she had the nerve to say "MMmmmmmmmmmmmmm."

Avery and I could be friends--I love basil, too! (Minus roots and dirt, of course.) I've wondered how a geodesic newspaper dome would hold up with my kids. Now I know. And, Ella has quite beautiful handwriting. So cute!

Sounds like you have your hands full these days. Ella is so good at writing! That's awesome. That's hilarious that Avery ate the entire plant. Mmm mmm good.
