I'd Like to Blame this on Scouts

Last night we had Little Philmont for Scouts, which for me was a 4-hour meeting. Towards the end, I started thinking that I hoped my kids were faring OK with just Bry...so I texted him the following: "Are things going OK at home?" And I was surprised when I looked down and a friend had responded that yes, they were, except their little boy was not interested in brushing his teeth. What??? Oh no!!! I sent it to my whole address book.
A seemingly simple inquiry suddenly became an intrusive little bombshell. Open mouth, insert foot. Or phone.

Oops! That is so funny. My sister in law was babysitting our kids while we spent the night downtown at a hotel and she texted us that Weston had pooped in the potty. The next day she sent another text to ian at church, but he never got it. Apparently she had a wrong number as his in her phone, so some bewildered person got an excited text about Weston's pooping activities. Technology, huh?

OH that is funny. You probably had a ton of confused people who appreciated your thoughtfulness :)

That is funny I have to admit. Hahaha
Also did you go to the meeting for the new 8 year olds? I wasn't able too and wondering what we missed.

That was pretty funny - I have to admit. I was confused at first and michael told me to respond as if nothing was awry. I had to laugh!
