Our camera's been having issues lately, so I've only got pictures of Ella's spooky Halloween lunch. We had a few friends over and ate yummy treats, which Ella thought should be followed up by present-opening. Wrong kind of party, but my kind of girl!
For the memory bank: Our ward had a fantastic Halloween party this year replete with a chili cookoff, trunk or treat, the works. It was completely packed and a great way to celebrate Halloween Eve, an oft overlooked day. Fortunately, Devin was out of town and Bryson got promoted to the chili judging committee. Unfortunately, Ella went to the feel-the-yucky-brains-and-eyeballs activity first during the kids games and refused to participate in anything afterwards, including three-legged race and beanbag toss.
Picture of the day: All partied out.

What cute Halloween food! Your are such a Martha Stewart. The girls look darling.
My goodness aren't you quite the HOST! I agree on the Marth Steward comment. My LAND that food looked awesome!
Your spread looks amazing! I LOVE the bat BLT idea. I may have to steal that one. Also, is that a spice cake ice cream roll? Your girls are darling and their costumes were extra cute. Glad you had a fun holiday.
PS-I think you are a stellar blogger. I love reading your posts!
Oh my your girls are too cute!! And those pictures of the food made me so hungry! You are such a creative writer Katie. I wish I was more like you!
I agree. What a spread and your kids look adorable. I love the girly costumes - we don't get much of that around here.
Thanks for having us over to Ella's unbirthday halloween party! Lots of work, lots of fun. I've thought about Bryson's "chili comment" a few times--he was really taking his judge roll seriously!
