July Treasures

Ella brought this little beauty home from library storytime a few months ago as a seed and it is the now the tallest thing we've ever had on our porch. It opened its eyes this weekend.

Robyn made this elaborate princess cake for Avery's second birthday when we were up north. Wow. I mean, what else do you say for a cake like that? Other than--I want one!

Avery can't figure out how to make two with the fingers on one hand, so this is how she compromises.

That cake is amazing! Weston was fascinated by the picture. Davin does his 2 fingers the same way. So cute!

I'm really glad that Avery (and you, Katie) LOVED the cake. It was so fun to hang out with you guys, and it was fun to help celebrate Avery's 2nd birthday!

I keep forgetting to ask you; did you guys like the fondant on the cake?

That's a very intense cake! And, of course, love Avery's "2." What a funny kid. :)
